When your child is diagnosed with ADHD, it can feel overwhelming fast. There’s too much information, too many opinions, and no clear starting point. This workshop helps you understand what actually matters—and what to do next.

This workshop is for parents whose child (of any age) has recently been diagnosed with ADHD — or who suspect ADHD may be part of the picture. Stop sifting through the noise online and spend an hour learning evidence-based information about what ADHD really is and where to go from here. Plus have time to chat with a psychologist for a few minutes to hopefully set you a on a path of clearer understanding.

You will learn:

• what ADHD actually means in understandable terms
• what executive functioning is and how it plays an important role in ADHD
• common myths about ADHD and how you can work to fight against them
• practical first steps you can take as a parent tomorrow to start helping your child

Led by Dr. Liz Gaebler, a licensed psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and parents navigating ADHD and executive functioning challenges.

The workshop will run for 75 minutes. The first 45-50 minutes will be informational, with the remaining time open to live Q&A with Dr. Liz.

Zoom link will be provided prior to the event- you will be asked to provide your email at check-out. You will automatically be subscribed to the Empowered Focus newsletter upon registration, but you are welcome to unsubscribe at any time.

Important: These workshops are for educational purposes only and do not provide diagnosis, therapy, or individualized clinical advice.
