Executive Function Skill Workshops for Parents
Life can feel overwhelming when you or your child struggles with executive function challenges.
Many parents find themselves searching for answers - reading articles, trying strategies, and wondering what actually helps.
Empowered Focus offers psychologist-led workshops designed to help adults better understand their child’s (or their own) executive functioning, build executive function skills, and create sustainable approaches to help everyday life.
These workshops provide practical, research-informed guidance in a supportive environment where adults can learn, ask questions, and leave with strategies they can begin using right away.
Workshops at Empowered Focus help adults understand the skills and patterns that drive everyday challenges.
Workshops address topics like:
understanding executive function skill challenges- in your children (or in yourself)
how to use individual strengths to address areas for growth (we don't call them weaknesses around here!)
understanding basic brain development to inform when behavioral challenges are “can’t do” or “won’t do”
helping parents coach their children of all ages to build independence and confidence to launch on their own
Rather than focusing on quick fixes or rigid strategies, our workshops help you to understand what may be driving concerns and how to respond in ways that are more effective, less stressful, and work with your brain and not against it.
