Meet Your Brain’s Imaginary CEO:
Patricia Foster Coolidge
Catchphrase: “If we want to make lasting change, we really need to focus on our system.”
Patricia is the leader of the brain office team. She runs a tight ship (most days), but struggles to be on her A-game when her kid keeps her up all night, she has to go out of state to take care of her aging mom, or she has just had too many weeks in a row of burning the candle at both ends.
As the CEO of PF Cortex Consulting, she oversees the entire operation, keeps projects aligned with the big picture, and occasionally has to remind the team that yes, deadlines are real. She loves a good brainstorming session and can’t function without her color-coded planner.
Patricia’s skills represent the holistic executive function skills that are directed (primarily) by the prefrontal cortex (although that’s a pretty simplified explanation for the purpose of learning here…). Sign up for our newsletter to learn more about how you can strengthen these and other executive function skills. Learn how to honor your brain and work with it, never against it.
